'Yah I'm on the shuttle right now – probably be home in twenty or so – hey so do you want to go out for dinner because I was thinking maybe I could make dinner tonight. Because I have this really good olive oil and I could stop by the grocery store on my way home and pick up some eggplants and things – I already have the olive oil and salt and seasonings – just thought it would be cool though I'll probably need some tomato paste.'
'You wouldn't have to do anything – just show up in like an hour or so and bring a bottle of red – and I told Greg and Linda already but they have to go to the vet tonight because Basil has been throwing up again – or some pita chips to snack on before you could get that – yah just show up in like an hour with maybe a Zinfandel – I'll be cooking the eggplant parmesan and don't laugh because I'll be wearing the shower cap again.'
'So I'll be at home getting the eggplant parmesan ready which I kind of really have been wanted to make because I got this really nice olive oil and just thought if you wanted to come over in like an hour of so then I'd be there – yah the shower cap is to protect my hair from the oil since I already have oily hair.'
'Yah I know you said it might be difficult tonight with your Russian class and all so that's why I'm saying like if you showed up in maybe two hours or whenever you're ready then I'd be there and the eggplant parmesan would be ready – though we could cook it at your place but I know you don't like your electric burners and all so that's why I thought – since I have gas burners and the good olive oil – then if you came over in three hours then I could make some eggplant parmesan.'
'Hey so the shuttle is almost there so should I swing by the grocery store – I wonder if they sell shower caps and I think I need some bread crumbs too – for some eggplants for the eggplant parmesan then I could make it when you show up in three hours or so – you could show off your Russian too – and you'd not even need to bring a bottle of red it was just a thought.'
'Actually I remember I still have some pita chips from last time when I made eggplant parmesan that time remember when you couldn't make it – I think it was also your Russian class – they might be a little stale but if I pop them in the toaster oven for a bit they'd probably crisp up and would actually be really great as a vehicle for the eggplant parmesan and that great olive oil.'
'Yah Greg and Linda are fine I think – I don't know – they've been really worried about Basil or at least Linda has though I think she wishes Greg cared or was more worried about the cat – but you can't really blame Greg since Basil scratched his cornea that time in the car – but too bad they can't make it tonight so I'll just be me and you maybe we could even take a walk afterwards up the hill and see the lights like that one time when you said things looked so small.'
'Ah my phone just made a noise I think the battery is low – swear I need to buy an extra charger and bring it to work – and plus the shuttle arrived so why don't I just drop by the grocery store and get some eggplants and start making the eggplant parmesan and figure you'd be over in four or five hours after your Russian class – okay great that's the plan we could take a walk afterwards then since anyways I have that nice olive oil and have been wanting to cook eggplant parmesan not just for you but in general.'
